Sustainable Design
Mundi Cares about the environment and sustainability. Our designers have worked proactively to source materials such as fabrics made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, water based synthetics, and biodegradable leathers. 90% of our products are made from vegan leather.
Ethical Sourcing
Here at Mundi, we have made a commitment to environmental and ethical sourcing. This includes ensuring all of our facilities are socially compliant to protect the health, safety, and rights of their employees, the community and environment in which they operate, and the lives and communities of workers in their supply and distribution chains.
Waste Not
Mundi is committed to recycling. Company-wide, we have reduced our paper usage, eliminating excessive packaging. Our polybags and packaging are made from recyclable materials and all of our hand tags, POP bands, carding and boxes are recyclable.
Recycled Wallets
We’ve most recently made the move towards wallets with 100% recycled interior linings. In addition to recycled interior wallets, we are creating wallets and crossbody bags with Eco Friendly exterior materials composed of at least 35% recycled raw materials.
Going Solar
Mundi installed 4000 solar panels in our NJ corporate headquarters that produce up to 1.2 million kilowatt hours annually. The 1-megawatt DC solar system will offset a total of 16,375 tons of carbon dioxide over its lifetime (The environmental benefit is equivalent to planting more than 5 million trees).

A wallet should make your life easier, not more complicated. Mundi Wallets puts the consumer (you) and the environment first when sourcing. The materials to produce our wallets and bags are Proposition 65 compliant. To put it simply, there are no harmful chemicals used in our wallets or bags ensuring that our products will have no harmful effects on you, your family, and the environment.
Vegan Leather
You don’t need a leather wallet or bag to be fashionable. You may ask “What’s so great about vegan leather?” Well, there are a lot of benefits, but most importantly, no animals are harmed when making vegan leather products. Plus, it’s eco-friendly. That’s why the majority of our wallets and crossbody bags are made from vegan leather.
